Starting from small beginnings in a home garage, 10 Uit 10 has clearly defined themselves as a standout stationery outlet through dedicated and personalized interaction and this family-owned business now services schools, households and businesses in and around Ballito.
Established by Wilma Greyling in 2014, 10 Uit 10 initially niched themselves to exclusively service Ashton International College. As a vibrant new company, their differentiated approach then attracted the attention of Eco Kids and Village Kids preschools and eight years on this independent company now has a large outlet and services the community across all spectrums of stationery.
Another innovative event that Wilma initiated was the Back-to-School Trade Show. This was hosted for the first-time at the Simbithi Country Club last year in June. At this fair, which was singularly targeted at only school principals and teachers, over 21 suppliers and manufacturers showcased their wares and shared their knowledge as well as industry trends in this tailored education environment. The second Back to School Event will be happening again this year, emphasizing the success of this 10 Uit 10 initiative.
The best businesses are born out of need, and although 10 Uit 10 has been successful through having its roots in stationery, the company also is engaged in the community working with several schools. 10 Uit 10 focuses on supplying basic stationery to schools that are struggling economically, plus they are also very involved with the Bloom Special Needs School Colour Run Event. Usually held in mid-year, this annual fund raising event comprises a 5km fun walk or run with a splash of paint colours. Many prizes can also be won. The next Bloom Colour Run will be held on 28 May 2023.
